Tea kadai butter biscuit:

1 pound butter

1 cup brown sugar

4 to 4 1/2 cup all purpose flour

Mix butter and brown super. Slowly add flour to the consistency of chapathi maavu. Then make your shapes and bake for 25 mins at 325 F

Another idea my friend told me last week which I thought was very cool idea. You can make designs on your cookies using any solid pattern you may have like below (bottom of a glass is being used to make a beautiful design on top of the cookie) :

Potti kadai thenga biscuit (coconut macaroonsaaaaama):

2 1/2 cups flakes coconut

1/3 cup all purpose flour

1/8 teaspoon salt

2/3 cup sweeterned condensed milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Combine everything and drop 1 inch apart on a baking sheet. Bake at 350 F for 20 mins in middle rack (If you want a dark burnt look at bottom, keep in bottom most rack for 15 mins and middle rack for 5 mins)

Idhu mattum illama…vazhkaila modha vaatti kuzhi paniyaram try panen….I made arachu vitta vengaya sambar and had semmaaa dinner…What a day!!!
